IsoMet 1000, 85-264V, 50/60Hz The IsoMet® 1000 is a precision sectioning saw designed for cutting various types of materials with minimal deformation. Its low kerf loss capability and great versatility in holding all types of sample shapes and configurations gives today's laboratory a precision sectioning tool capable of cutting virtually any material including brittle or ductile metals, composites, cements, laminates, plastics, electronic devices and biomaterials. When equipped with the optional rotating chuck, sectioning times are dramatically reduced. Features automatic cutoff switch, counter- balanced sliding load weight system, 0- 500 gram (0-800 gram with accessory weight kit), built-in inch or metric digital micrometer crossfeed for sample location, removeable coolant tray with built-in dressing device, 1/8 HP DC motor with continuously variable arbor speed, 100-975 RPM (25 RPM increments).
